NACMNE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Peter Sobha |
 |
Board Chair Polartec Inc.
Peter is Director of Corporate Credit, Collections
and Customer Relations at Polartec, formerly Malden
Mills Industries, Inc. in Lawrence, Massachusetts and is
responsible for Polartec’s credit, collection and
customer service activities worldwide. He originally
joined Malden Mills in 1981 in the Claims Department and
worked his way through all segments of the Credit
Department including Domestic and International Credit,
Collections and
Bankruptcies, becoming Director in 1990. Peter has a
B.A. in Economics and has been a member of the Board of
Directors of NACM-New England, Inc. since 2000, most
recently serving at NACMNE's Board Chair, and he serves
as the Chairperson of NACMNE's International Trade
Group. Peter was awarded the “President’s Appreciation
Award” from NACMNE in 2001 and was named NACMNE Credit
Executive of the Year in 2003. |
Charles Lanagan |

Sr. Vice Chair Bracken Leasing Co. Inc.
Charles, President of Bracken Leasing, is a well
respected contributor to the NACMNE organization and is
presently the Senior Vice Chair. His background
and experience in actively running a small business
within the construction sector has been invaluable to
the continued growth of NACMNE. He was a
longstanding member of the Massachusetts Construction
Materials Supplier Group, NACMNE's largest industry
credit exchange group. Throughout his board
tenure, he has been instrumental in mentoring new board

Seena Urquhart |

Vice Chair Vicor Corporation
Seena Urquhart, Manager of Credit & Collections at
Vicor Corporation is the Vice Chair and has been an
NACMNE board member since 1999, serving on the
Membership, Education and Bylaws Committees. She
has held the position of President for the Boston
Chapter of CFDD (an educational arm of NACM), and is a
former member of four trade groups including:
International, Food Service, Seafood and Wholesale
Provision. Seena attended NACM's Mid- Career School and
several of NACM's Credit Congresses.
Her professional experience in the Credit, Collections
and Accounts Receivable field spans twenty-seven years,
seventeen of which were in management and six were as a
company Officer. In 1999 she initiated and steered a
successful Quality Assurance Team to improve customer
satisfaction and reduce the number of errors. In 2001,
she earned her Masters of Science degree at Boston
College enhancing her skills in research, computers and
communications. Currently Seena is working as Manager of
Credit and Collections with Vicor Corporation, a leading
power supply manufacturer in Andover, Massachusetts. |
Joe Mooney |

Treasurer TD Banknorth
Joe Mooney, SVP of TD BankNorth, is NACMNE's
Treasurer and is in his second three year term on the
NACMNE Board. The difference Joe brings to NACMNE is
energy, involvement and commitment as a Trade Finance
Expert at TD BankNorth, N.A. He currently participates
in the NACMNE International Group, the Finance and
Education committees and shares what he has learned from
the financial services world, as well as his experiences
in corporate finance/credit to the NACMNE Board.
Joe's career has spanned both sides of the fence -
corporate and banking. Currently, he is a presenter at
trade associations including the Massachusetts Export
Center, New Hampshire International Trade Resource
Center, Maine International Trade Center, and the
Treasury Management Association-New England. His
presentations are not as sales opportunities, but as a
teaching opportunity, enabling him to give back to
others based on his own experiences which span over 25
years in international trade. |
Barbara Braun |

President & COO of BCI/NACM-New England Inc.
Barbara joined NACMNE in 2002 as President/COO.
She has an extensive financial services background
having worked in the banking and student loan sectors
for over 25 years. She holds a Masters in Finance
from Bentley College, a BA in Economics from Boston
College, and advanced study certifications from Babson College
and Northeastern University. |
Robert J. Murphy |

Solar Seal Co.
Robert J. Murphy is currently an at-large Board
member. Bob has been an NACMNE member for 35 years
and has served on Board of Directors from 1984 to
present. He has held offices such as Officer –2nd
Vice President in 1987; served on the Nominating,
Bylaws, Investment/Finance and Program Committees, as
well as the Executive Committee from 2002 -2005 He
successfully completed the rigorous NACM graduate
program at the Graduate School of Credit and Financial
Management-Dartmouth (Class of 1984), has Chaired the
New England Glass and Aluminum Credit Group for 10
years, and served on the Board of Directors of the
National Construction Group - NACMCT for 5 years.
Bob's prior participation in Associations and
Affiliations include: National Apparel Group Board of
Directors and Member, N.E. Apparel Group, chairperson
and Member-NACMNE, International Credit Group
Member-NACMNE, Board of Governors and Member of “the
Credit Council of the Children’s Apparel Industry, Hotel
& Restaurant Credit Group member-NACMNE, National
Institute of Credit Member-NACMNE. In the past,
Bob has held positions at The William Carter Company-
Children’s Apparel, Akko, Inc.-Acrylic Consumer
Products, Bowmar Ali-Pocket calculators and consumer
electronics, Sugarman Bros.-Paper Products, Boston Woven
Hose and Rubber Division of American Biltrite Rubber
Company.

Anthony Tempesta-CCE |

Reebok International
Anthony is currently an at-large Board member.
He has been in the credit field for over 27 years and
has been employed by Reebok International for the last
20 years and is responsible for over $1 Billion in
receivables. Anthony has been a member of the Board of
Directors for the past 8 years and has served the
organization on many committees and has made numerous
contributions to these committees .
Anthony is also very active in several NACM Association
groups and has served as the Chairperson of the National
Footwear Group. In 2000 Anthony did a presentation on
“Credit Line Models” at NACM Credit Conference’s
Industry Day. The presentation also appeared in NACM
monthly news publications. Anthony also does seminars on
behalf of NACM, some of the tops include “Granting &
Extending Additional Credit” and “Removing the Mystery
Behind Setting Credit Lines.” Anthony is also a member
of the Credit Research Foundation. Anthony holds
the designation of CCE and holds a BS in Business
Administration.

David Meininger |

Parametric Technology Corp.
David is currently an at-large Board member. He
has held the position of the Finance Director of
Parametric Technology Corp (PTC) in Needham since 2000.
He is responsible for worldwide credit, collections,
cash application and financing for a multi-million
dollar software company. He is a member of the internal
Sarbanes Oxley team at PTC and travels extensively
throughout US, Europe and Asia visiting customers and
resellers.
David holds a MBA from Suffolk University and a Bachelor
of Arts degree from Syracuse University. He served as
Co-Chairperson of New England Technology Group from 2004
–2006 and is currently a member of our international
group.

Gary Gaudette |

Hyperthem, Inc.
Gary is currently urrently an at-large Board member.
He is employed by Hypertherm, Inc. as a Senior Treasury
Analyst. He has held successively responsible
positions at Hypertherm, Inc. since earning his MBA in
Leadership, and the designation of
CICP from the FCIB International Credit & Risk
Development Program. He has co-led, as part of a Board
of Directors, non-profit and community organizations.
Throughout Gary's career, he has had the privilege to
lead many teams, ensuring that company and team goals
were achieved while mentoring and providing growth and
development opportunities for team members. Gary is an
original and ongoing member of the Advisory Board for
NACMNE's New Hampshire Special Interest Group where he
has
demonstrated a commitment to helping grow the
organization. He recognizes the value of NACMNE to
credit professionals and organizations as a resource for
information, training, networking, and promoting high
ethical and professional standards within
the industry.

James Shea |

Dean Foods Northeast LLC.
Jim Shea, currently an at-large Board member.
has been a member of NACMNE for over 20 years and was a
past Chairman of the Board of Directors of NACMNE the
years 2000 and 2001. Jim has also served and was
Chairperson of numerous committees including the by-laws
committees. As chairman of the by-laws committee, Jim
was instrumental in revising the organization’s by-laws
to bring it in line with the present and future
requirements.
Jim, who has been in the credit profession for over 25
years is the Director of credit for Dean Northeast LLC,
and holds an MBA from Suffolk University, Boston
